Architecture is very personal to me. I design every space with the perspective of—Would I want to work here? Would I want my family to live here? I feel so much responsibility for designing spaces that profoundly affect people’s lives and livelihoods.
I founded LEAP Architecture to do business the way I want to. I strive to be socially and environmentally responsible, to be fair and respectful to clients and vendors, and to provide a good life for me and my family.
“Good design enhances people’s daily rituals. We strive to connect people with their surroundings through architecture.” -E. Davenport

I pursued a position at LEAP Architecture because I saw a firm that took a holistic approach to community awareness, environmental justice and sustainable design. Before I began my career in architecture I worked in the fields of horticulture and sustainable agriculture. Plants and ecology are a life-long passion for me. I believe I bring a lot to LEAP in the areas of low-impact, environmentally responsive and ecologically responsive design. I maintain a gardening micro-business and a lifelong study of horticulture and ecology to hone my skills.
Originally from Ireland, I am an experienced architect with over 20 years of professional experience. Over the course of my career I have completed architectural projects in Germany, Ireland, Thailand and the US, have worked internationally as a theater set designer and have exhibited my fine art in New York and beyond. Working with LEAP Architecture gives me the opportunity to bring my diverse cross-disciplinary skill set to the table, and to work towards realizing our mission to deliver excellence in design, and to help our clients achieve their goals.
